Thanks to their growing international presence, fueled by several acquisitions, 9altitudes Enterprise Solutions realized it was time to find a consolidation tool that could keep pace with their rapid development. With their growth trend showing no signs of slowing down, the company decided to move to a Software as a Service (SaaS) solution to enhance our IT security as well as provide quicker access to system updates, while ensuring their current workflows remain uninterrupted. The company also wanted a solution that could seamlessly integrate with a wide range of existing accounting systems.
"Everything starts with the accounting teams," says Yuliya Barhudarova, Corporate Controlling Manager at 9altitudes Enterprise Solutions. Yuliya explains that there are multiple accounting teams working for and with 9altitudes, spread across 9 countries and 30 subsidiaries. For this reason, it's crucial that they all book transactions in the same way.
For many years, 9altitudes relied on Excel spreadsheets. However, with their rapid international expansion during the pandemic, the company needed a smarter, more agile solution to meet the needs of their growing organization.
In recent years, 9altitudes has changed its methodology to empower local accounting and controlling teams, giving them greater responsibility for data quality. Now, by importing data into Lucanet’s solution, their declaration of flows and intercompany reconciliations all follow the same procedures and formats. This consistency helps 9altitudes operate on an increasingly global scale.
The migration to Lucanet’s SaaS solution went smoothly and took a relatively short time to get up and running, causing no disruption to users. Highlighting the positive collaboration with Lucanet’s implementation team, Yuliya notes that users have easily adapted to Lucanet’s solution, thanks to its intuitive, user-friendly design.
“We use Lucanet for monthly management reporting, quarterly legal reporting, FTE reporting, and cash flow reporting,” says Yuliya. “It’s important that all financial processes are streamlined.” Accounting rules vary across different countries, so they need to be aligned and delivered to a set of rolling deadlines.
